It can be difficult to get to a place where you can love and pray for the enemy called abuser. Perhaps it can be helpful to remember that love does not mean to enable . Removing the target of abuse is not only loving to yourself, but also to the abuser, because helping someone continue on a path of destruction is not loving. We can pray they leave the path of destruction.
