Hurting Because Your Narcissistic Ex "Moved On"?

If you are hurting because your narcissistic ex "moved on", remember this: they don't seek connection, they seek consumption. Their sense of entitlement, need for admiration, difficulty empathizing, and pattern of taking advantage of others are reflected in their objectification of people. They only see people as tools, toys, or obstacles. The same person can shift between all three inside of a manipulationship.
People are tools - They value what you provide: attention, money, labor, connections, care, or a good public image. Your needs receive less consideration, if any at all.
People are toys - They seek your attention or emotional reaction, then become distant or provoke you when it suits them. Affection feels conditional based on keeping them interested.
People are obstacles - When you say no, ask for accountability, or make an independent choice, they treat your boundary as a threat and may pressure, blame, or undermine you. Your “no” is treated as a problem to overcome, rather than a decision to respect.

They drain a source dry, and instead of reflecting and healing, they look for a new tap to turn on. The love-bombing she is experiencing right now is the exact same script he used on you.

He didn't find "the one" - he found a new audience, a new source of supply. A narcissist thrives on attention, validation, and control. When you started to see through the mask and responded accordingly, you became "broken" supply. The new woman isn't better; she is just unaware.

Focus your attention on the liberation God provided for you and keep walking forward in the purpose He ordained for you. Keep reclaiming God's abundant life the enemy tried to steal from you through narcissistic oppression.
You matter.
Your voice matters.
Your story matters.
Your valley will be exalted, and your triumph will bring glory to God.
